The Ubiquiti UniFi USW-24 Standard 24 is a managed Layer 2 network switch designed for homes, offices, schools, retail environments, small businesses and professional UniFi network installations that need a large number of reliable Gigabit Ethernet connections without Power over Ethernet.

It provides 24 × 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports for computers, servers, NAS devices, printers, access points with separate power, smart TVs, network recorders and other Ethernet equipment. Two additional 1Gbps SFP ports can be used for fibre or compatible copper uplinks using separately purchased SFP modules.

The USW-24 delivers a 52Gbps switching capacity, 26Gbps total non-blocking throughput and a forwarding rate of approximately 39 million packets per second, allowing traffic to move efficiently between multiple connected devices.

A completely fanless cooling system allows the switch to operate without cooling-fan noise, while the compact 1U rackmount chassis measures only approximately 200mm deep. The USW-24 is a non-PoE network switch. None of its 24 RJ45 Ethernet ports provide electrical power to connected equipment.

A PoE camera, wireless access point, VoIP telephone or other powered network device can use the USW-24 for network connectivity, but it will require a compatible external PoE injector, a separate PoE switch or another supported power source.
