The ARCTIC M2 Pro (Black) is a simple, effective way to keep an NVMe (or M.2 SATA) SSD cooler during sustained transfers, gaming installs, and workstation workloads. By adding thermal mass and improving contact with the controller/NAND, it helps stabilise SSD temperatures and can reduce the chance of performance drops caused by heat (thermal throttling).

Designed for M.2 2280 NVMe SSDs only (22 × 80 mm). Works with single- or double-sided drives using the included pads. Not for 2230/2242/2260 lengths.
Is it PS5 compatible?
Yes — the cooler is within Sony’s bay limits and is widely listed as PS5 compatible when used with a 2280 NVMe SSD that meets PS5 performance specs.
What’s included in the box?
Aluminium top+bottom heatsink assembly and two ARCTIC TP-3 thermal pads (70 × 20 mm) in 1.5 mm and 1.0 mm thicknesses to match single- or double-sided SSDs.
Do I need tools or screws?

Remove any stock M.2 shield first. Cut pads to length if needed, avoid touching pad surfaces, and don’t over-compress. Reinstall PS5 bay cover (if applicable) after fitting.
